Ogun Farmers Back Abiodun's Agric Policies, Deny Blackmail

Farmers in Ogun State reaffirmed their confidence in the agricultural policies of Governor Dapo Abiodun during a conference held in Abeokuta. Bolu Owotomo, representing the Ministry of Agriculture, clarified the leadership status of the All Farmers Association of Nigeria (AFAN) in the state, asserting that any claims made by individuals impersonating AFAN executives were unfounded.

Oluwarotimi Sogunle, a farmer from the local government area, condemned these impostors, stating they sought personal gain without contributing to the agricultural sector. The farmers highlighted the governor's achievements, including the establishment of 28 agricultural infrastructures and the provision of tractors and other equipment to support local farmers.

They pledged to continue supporting Abiodun's administration, recognizing the positive impact of his policies on the agricultural landscape of Ogun State.
