Urgent Call to Fix Masa Bypass Road in Ogun State

Babatunde Adeyemo, Chief Executive Officer of Pelican Valley Nigeria Limited, has called on Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, Chairman of the Senate Committee on Appropriations, to urgently intervene in the rehabilitation of the Masa bypass road in Ogun State. Adeyemo emphasized the road's strategic importance for alleviating traffic congestion along the Kobap-Abeokuta corridor, especially given the increasing industrial activities in the area. He noted that the bypass serves a growing population, including factory workers and residents from 300 villages, making it a critical economic and social artery. Adeyemo highlighted that previous government interventions, particularly under former Ogun State Governor Chief Olusegun Osoba, had improved local infrastructure, and he believes Adeola can continue this legacy. He pointed out that the road requires minimal investment to complete the final surfacing and drainage work, which has already been partially completed. Adeyemo's appeal underscores the urgent need for government action to enhance local infrastructure and support community development.
