Ogunbanjo Family Launches Solar Initiative in Erunwon

The Ogunbanjo family unveiled a solar lighting and skills initiative to honor the late Bamofin Abimbola Ogunbanjo, with the first phase of the project being implemented by the Chris Ogunbanjo Foundation. This initiative aims to improve public safety and promote renewable energy in Erunwon, Ijebu Ode.

The project includes the installation of 80 solar-powered street lights across major roads and public spaces, which is expected to enhance security and visibility while supporting commercial activities. Additionally, the initiative incorporates a community skill development program in partnership with infrastructure management, providing selected residents with practical training in solar light system installation and maintenance.

The project is scheduled for formal illumination on July 11, coinciding with the birthday of the late Bamofin Abimbola Ogunbanjo, symbolizing the family's commitment to continuing his legacy by creating safer streets and empowering the community.
