Ohanaeze Ndigbo Praises Tinubu for Olejeme's APC Role

Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for appointing Dr. Ngozi Olejeme as the South-South Zonal Director of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Election Planning, Coordination and Monitoring Team. The organization recognized Olejeme's administrative experience, political knowledge, and grassroots mobilization skills.

Mazi Chukwuma Okpalaezeukwu, Acting Global Youth Leader of Ohanaeze, stated that Olejeme, who is also the Vice President-General of the organization, is well-equipped to coordinate election strategies in the South-South region. Ohanaeze dismissed allegations against Olejeme as attempts to undermine her achievements, particularly during her tenure as Chairman of the Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund (NSITF).

The organization referenced legal principles regarding the presumption of innocence and highlighted Olejeme's significant contributions, including her role in the enactment of the Employees’ Compensation Act in December 2010 and her advocacy for improved worker compensation. Ohanaeze expressed confidence in Olejeme's ability to contribute effectively to the APC's election efforts.
