Ojolowo Abdullahi Backs APC's Danladi for 2027 Race

Ojolowo Tunji Abdullahi, a former House of Representatives aspirant for the Ilorin South/Ilorin East Federal Constituency on the platform of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), has officially resigned from the party. He has declared his support for Hon.

Yakubu Danladi, the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship standard bearer for the 2027 Kwara State elections. Abdullahi attributed his decision to ongoing internal crises within the ADC that undermine the party's capacity to provide effective leadership.

He noted that the APC's decision to zone the 2027 governorship ticket to Kwara North and Danladi's emergence as the APC candidate influenced his move. Abdullahi recently withdrew from the House of Representatives race due to internal challenges within the ADC and is now dedicating efforts to support Danladi's governorship aspirations ahead of the 2027 general elections.

He also announced plans for a grassroots mobilization campaign across Kwara Central and a humanitarian outreach program through the Embassi Foundation.
