Dr. Chioma Awuzie Nominated for AMTI Award 2025

Dr. Chioma Awuzie, the Rector of Federal Polytechnic Oko, has been nominated for the AMTI Public Servant of the Year Award for 2025, as stated in a nomination letter dated March 9, 2026.

The award, organized by AMTI, aims to recognize individuals who have made significant contributions to Anambra State. Since her appointment, Dr.

Awuzie has transformed the institution, inspiring both staff and students with her leadership vision. The award will be formally presented at the 5th edition of the AMTI award ceremony scheduled to take place in Awka, Anambra State.

Dr. Awuzie, a scholar and administrator with over two decades of teaching and research experience, holds a PhD from Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University and has published extensively in scientific journals.

She has overseen significant infrastructural reforms at the polytechnic, including the establishment of a skill development center and the introduction of a student work-study scheme.
