Dr. Jim Okolo Appointed West African Regional Director

Hon. Dr. Jim Chimezie Okolo has been officially confirmed as the West African Regional Director for Inter-Governmental Affairs at the International Human Rights Protection Service (IHRPS), USA. This confirmation follows his earlier appointment as the National Director of Peace and Conflict Resolution, which occurred during a ceremony at the National Defence College in Abuja in December 2025.

Dr. Okolo's promotion reflects his significant contributions to peacebuilding and governance in Africa. In his new role, he will coordinate inter-governmental efforts among West African nations to enhance human rights institutions and promote transparent governance.

Dr. Okolo has also been recognized as a United Nations Mayor for World Peace and has led election observation missions in multiple countries. His recent induction as an Implementing Partner for Global Peace by the Nigerian Air Force further underscores his commitment to sustainable peace.

He is also the President of the Jim Mezie Foundation and the Managing Director of Jimez Petroleum Resources Ltd, contributing to community empowerment and Nigeria's energy sector.
