Okpebholo Praises High Turnout at Edo APC Primaries

On Saturday, during the APC presidential primaries held in Edo State, Governor Mondai Okpebholo commended the massive turnout of party members, which he interpreted as a clear indication of the people's readiness to support Bola Tinubu for the 2027 presidential election. Okpebholo participated in the primaries alongside party members, utilizing the option A4 method adopted by the APC National Working Committee.

He expressed confidence that Edo State would deliver 2.5 million votes for Tinubu, stating that the people were eager to cast their votes. The governor noted that the turnout was a positive sign for Tinubu's candidacy, emphasizing that the overwhelming support from Edo residents would lead to a successful outcome in the upcoming general elections.

The primaries were conducted in accordance with the party's guidelines, ensuring that the counting of votes was verified against party membership cards.
