Anya Chukwu Installed as Rotary Club President in Ibadan

On August 9, 2026, Anya Chukwu was installed as the 12th President of the Rotary Club of Ibadan Bodija Estate for the 2026/2027 Rotary year during a ceremony at Rotary House, Oluyole Way, New Bodija, Ibadan. The event was attended by District 9126 Governor Olaniyi Amoo Okin, district officials, Rotary and Inner Wheel members, traditional rulers, and community leaders, including Senator Sarafadeen Alli.

Chukwu, accompanied by his wife, Professor Mrs. Angela Anya Chukwu, outlined his administration's theme, “Creating Lasting Impact,” and appealed for financial and material support for planned community projects. The occasion featured the inauguration of a new board, induction of new members, and the presentation of awards.

Notable donations included N3 million from Chairman Ikechukwu Agwu and N1.5 million from Senator Sarafadeen Alli, totaling N4.5 million. The event concluded with goodwill messages and a vote of thanks by Rotarian Olalere Olabiran, reaffirming Chukwu's commitment to impactful service.
