Oluyede Rejects Flawed Ekiti Governorship Election Results

Dr. Wole Oluyede, the governorship candidate for the People's Democratic Party (PDP) in Ekiti State, has publicly rejected the results of the recent gubernatorial election, declaring the process deeply flawed. In a press statement released by his campaign organization, Oluyede stated that the outcome announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) does not reflect the true will of the democratic aspirations of the people of Ekiti State.

Chief Sanya Atofari, the director of media for Oluyede's campaign, emphasized that the electoral process fell significantly short of the standards of credibility, transparency, fairness, and integrity expected in a democratic society. Reports from various electoral agents indicated widespread irregularities, including vote-buying and voter intimidation, which undermined the sanctity of the electoral process.

Oluyede's campaign organization expressed serious doubts about the authenticity of the results and urged supporters to remain calm and peaceful while pursuing justice through lawful means.
