Olymptrade Nigeria and Lagos Food Bank Aid 1,100 Families

Olymptrade Nigeria has formed a partnership with the Lagos Food Bank Initiative to provide support to 1,100 families through food relief and sustainable farming initiatives. This collaboration aims to address hunger and improve nutrition for vulnerable households in Lagos.

The Lagos Food Bank Initiative, established in 2015 as Nigeria's first food bank, focuses on fighting hunger and supporting underserved communities through various programs. The partnership includes two initiatives: one providing immediate food assistance and the other equipping households with agricultural skills and resources to enhance food security and create income opportunities.

The first initiative involved distributing food boxes containing essential staples to vulnerable community members, including elderly women, widows, and visually impaired men. This initiative is part of Olymptrade's broader commitment to support local communities and create lasting positive change through social initiatives.
