PDP, APC Clash Over ₦23.3 Billion Vehicle Allocation in Ondo 2026 Budget

The People's Democratic Party (PDP) and All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ondo State engaged in a war of words over the ₦23.3 billion vehicle allocation in the 2026 budget. The PDP criticized the allocation as prioritizing the comfort of political office holders over citizens' welfare, particularly amidst rising poverty and unemployment.

The APC, on the other hand, defended the allocation, stating it is necessary for logistical and security support for public officials. The PDP accused the APC-led administration of neglecting the health sector, while the APC argued that the focus on pharmaceutical allocation ignores broader healthcare investments.
