Ondo Anti-graft Agency Clears Education Commissioner

The Ondo State Public Complaints and Anti-Corruption Agency (SPFAAC) has absolved the state’s Education Commissioner, Prof. Igbekel Ajibefun, of allegations of financial crime.

The allegations claimed that Prof. Ajibefun received salaries from multiple sources, including Adekunle Ajasin University, Olusegun Agagu University of Science and Technology, and Rufus Giwa Polytechnic.

Following a comprehensive investigation, SPFAAC determined that the allegations were frivolous and lacked merit. Prof.

Ajibefun was able to convincingly demonstrate that he had not engaged in any wrongdoing. The agency noted that he had provided documentation that proved his innocence when he appeared before them.

Furthermore, SPFAAC emphasized that the allegations were baseless and warned against the spread of such unfounded claims, stating that legal action would be pursued against those disseminating false information.
