Ondo Anti-graft Agency Clears Education Commissioner of Fraud

The Ondo State Public Complaints and Anti-Corruption Agency (SPFAAC) conducted a thorough investigation into allegations of financial misconduct against the Education Commissioner, Prof. Igbekel Ajibefun.

The allegations claimed that he received salaries from multiple sources, including Adekunle Ajasin University, Olusegun Agagu University of Science and Technology, and Rufus Giwa Polytechnic. Following the investigation, SPFAAC found no evidence to support the claims and determined that Prof.

Ajibefun had acted within the law. He presented convincing documentation that proved the allegations were frivolous and lacked merit.

The agency emphasized that the former vice-chancellor was without blemish and warned against the spread of unfounded allegations, stating that legal action would be pursued against those disseminating such claims. Prof.

Adewol Adeyey, the agency's secretary, confirmed that the investigation concluded that Ajibefun's salary collection was in accordance with statutory regulations.
