Ondo Coaches Urged to Select Top Athletes for Niger Delta Games in Edo State

The Ondo State Liaison Committee has charged coaches in 17 sports to select the best athletes to represent the state at the 2nd Niger Delta Games in Benin, Edo State. Henri Babatunde emphasized the need for intensive training to enhance the athletes' competitive strength.

Coaches were instructed to avoid favoritism in athlete selection. Medical teams will conduct health checks on athletes daily during the event.

Evelyn Lebi from the Ondo State Sport Council promised strict monitoring of the games to ensure timely and responsible handling of registrations.
