Ondo Ex-Lawmakers Endorse APC Candidates for 2027 Elections

A forum of former lawmakers from Ondo State has officially endorsed the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidates for the National Assembly in the upcoming 2027 general elections. The forum, which met in Akure, emphasized the importance of party unity and urged members to rally behind the APC ahead of the polls.

They commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his leadership and commitment to democratic ideals, expressing appreciation for his steadfastness in promoting the Renewed Hope Agenda. The forum's statement, signed by Chairman Olugbenga Araoyinbo and Public Relations Officer Tayo Abidakun, praised the APC's national chairman, Professor Nentaw Yilwatda, for transparent leadership during the party's primaries.

The group condemned state-sponsored protests against the APC's National Assembly candidate list and called on all aspirants and stakeholders to support the party's success. They urged APC members, especially youth and women, to remain united in their efforts to ensure victory in the 2027 elections.
