Ondo Sets Cut-Off Marks for Junior Secondary Admissions

The Ondo State Ministry of Education, Science and Technology has established the cut-off marks for admission into public Junior Secondary Schools for the 2026/2027 academic session. This decision was communicated in a statement on Tuesday, signed by Press Officer Bisi Lawani.

The cut-off marks are determined based on candidates' performance in an admission assessment, which is scored out of a total of 300 marks. The assessment serves as a prerequisite for admission into public secondary schools in the state, ensuring that only qualified candidates are considered.

Prof. Igbekele Ajibefun, the Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology, chaired the meeting where this decision was made. He praised the smooth conduct of the examination and noted that the results were released promptly, reflecting the ministry's commitment to a credible and efficient admission process.

Ajibefun emphasized the importance of transparency in the admission process.
