Ondo Monarch Jimoh Abayomi Shot Dead in Kidnapping Attempt

On Wednesday night, Jimoh Abayomi, a monarch in Ondo, was shot dead outside his palace during an attempted kidnapping by six armed men. The incident occurred around 7:50 PM when the assailants forcibly took Abayomi away.

Following the attack, he was found with gunshot injuries and was confirmed dead at the scene. The Ondo State Police, along with a tactical team and local hunters from Amotekun, have mobilized to track down and arrest the perpetrators of this heinous crime.
