Ondo SDP Sacks Secretary Over Alleged Anti-Party Activities, Indiscipline

The Ondo State chapter of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) has removed its Secretary, Akinyan, due to alleged anti-party activities and indiscipline. The decision was announced during a stakeholder meeting in Akure, the state capital, with the aim of enforcing internal discipline and repositioning the party as a credible opposition in the state.

The State Chairman, Akinbuli, stated that Akinyan's conduct had violated party ethics and appointed a disciplinary committee to investigate the matter. A new Secretary was appointed as part of a broader effort to cleanse the party of saboteurs.

Akinbuli emphasized that the action was necessary to maintain the party's integrity and ensure a strong opposition presence in Ondo State.
