Onitsha's New Police Chief Commits to Integrity and Service

Chidieber Nzotta has been appointed as the new Police Chief of Onitsha, Anambra State, following his promotion within the Nigeria Police Force (NPF). During a decoration ceremony held at the Zone 13 Command Headquarters in Ukpo, Nzotta pledged to uphold the core values of the NPF, focusing on integrity and building public trust.

He expressed gratitude for his promotion, which he attributed to hard work and dedication, and acknowledged the support of his colleagues and the Inspector General of Police (IGP). Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Bless Akuchi also spoke at the event, highlighting the importance of maintaining professional integrity and discipline in their roles.

Assistant Inspector General of Police (AIG) Abayomi Oladipo urged the newly promoted officers to recognize that their new ranks come with greater responsibilities and emphasized the merit-based nature of the promotions. The ceremony underscored the ongoing reforms within the police force aimed at enhancing service delivery and motivating personnel across the country.
