Onuachu and Shomurodov Share Turkish Süper Lig Golden Boot

Paul Onuachu of Trabzonspor and Eldor Shomurodov of İstanbul Başakşehir were crowned joint winners of the Turkish Süper Lig Golden Boot for the 2025-2026 season, finishing as the league's top scorers with 22 goals each. The Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen, who plays for Galatasaray, had a notable season but ended with 15 league goals, placing him outside the top three scorers.

Despite Osimhen's impactful performances, including contributions from teammates like Mauro Icardi, he could not secure a higher position in the scoring chart. The Nigerian Football Federation congratulated Onuachu for his consistent scoring ability throughout the season, which proved decisive in maintaining his lead in the scoring race during the final stretch of the campaign.

Other notable scorers included Fenerbahçe's Anderson Talisca, who finished with 19 goals.
