Onuigbo Critiques Abia Central APC Primary Election Irregularities

Sam Onuigbo, a former two-term member of the House of Representatives, has publicly criticized the Abia Central APC senatorial primary election, claiming it was marred by irregularities and manipulation. He stated that the election results were fabricated, with a reported 36,935 votes for a single candidate despite no election being held in six local government areas.

Onuigbo urged party leaders to cease media attacks that could damage the APC's reputation in the southeast. He expressed concern over the party's integrity and called for a commitment to transparency ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Onuigbo also mentioned the need for accountability within the party and warned against the influence of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) in Abia State. He demanded that the APC leadership address the issues surrounding the primary election to restore confidence among party members and the electorate.
