APC Primaries: Opah, Galadima, Salihu, Wadada Win Tickets

In the recent All Progressives Congress (APC) primaries, Eric Opah emerged as the governorship candidate for Abia State, securing 126,977 votes and defeating former Minister Henri Ikechukwu Ikoh, who garnered 5,905 votes. The primary was conducted across 184 electoral wards, and Opah's victory was announced at the APC state secretariat in Umuahia.

In Adamawa State, Aminu Tijani Galadima won the governorship ticket with 401,444 votes, defeating Alhaji Abdulrazak Namda and Abdulrahman Hask, who received 86,000 and 65,935 votes, respectively. The results were confirmed by Prof.

Innoc Bariko, chairman of the governorship primary committee. Danladi Salihu was declared the candidate for Kwara State, while Ahmadu Aliyu Wadada secured the ticket for Nasarawa State.

The APC is preparing for the 2027 general elections, with these candidates expected to lead their respective states.
