Alaafin Oyo Visits Kidnap Victims, Donates for Recovery

On a recent visit to victims rescued from captivity in Oriire Local Government Area, Alaafin Oyo, Oba Akeem Owoade, donated cash to support their recovery after a 56-day ordeal. The visit included a stop at the headquarters of the 2 Division Medical Services Hospital at Odogbo Military Cantonment in Ibadan, where the victims were receiving medical attention.

In a statement signed by Bode Durojaiye, the Alaafin expressed sympathy for the victims and praised the Nigerian Army and security agencies for their successful rescue operation. He described the operation as a testament to the commitment and professionalism of the Nigerian Army in the fight against terrorism and banditry.

The Alaafin urged security agencies to maintain their momentum in combating violent crime and ensuring the safety of lives and property across the country. He also offered prayers for the victims, wishing them a speedy physical and emotional recovery and a return to normal life with their families.
