Aborisade Lauds Tinubu, Makinde for Victims' Rescue

Niyi Aborisade, a legal practitioner and gubernatorial aspirant for the African Democratic Congress in Oyo State, praised President Bola Tinubu and Governor Seyi Makinde for their roles in the successful rescue of pupils and a teacher abducted in Oriire Local Government Area. In a statement on Saturday, Aborisade commended the Nigerian Army, Nigerian Police Force, Department of State Services, Nigerian Navy, Nigerian Air Force, National Intelligence Agency, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Amotekun Corps, and local vigilante groups for their coordinated efforts that led to the safe return of the victims after 56 days in captivity.

He acknowledged the sacrifices made by security personnel during the operation and urged continued efforts to apprehend remaining members of the kidnapping syndicate. Aborisade also called for adequate medical care and trauma counseling for the victims and their families to aid their recovery from the psychological impact of the ordeal, reaffirming the commitment to ensuring safety and security in Oyo State.
