Osinbajo Inaugurates 6.72km Road in Bayelsa, Praises Diri

On a recent Monday, former Vice President Yemi Osinbajo inaugurated the 6.72km Agbura Oxbow Lake Road in Bayelsa, a project that has just been completed. This road serves as a convenient bypass for residents of Agbura and Ogbia, facilitating travel beyond the Swali market.

Osinbajo expressed appreciation for Governor Douye Diri's efforts to improve the lives of the people in Bayelsa and enhance infrastructure. He acknowledged Diri as a straightforward person who keeps his promises, referencing the ground-breaking of the project that took place four years ago.

Osinbajo thanked Diri for the invitation to inaugurate the project, which was initially commissioned by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu earlier in the month. The road is significant for the community, providing access to the Federal University and the historical Oloibiri oil discovery site.

Governor Diri also expressed gratitude to the people of Bayelsa and highlighted the project's construction features, including a single carriageway with specific dimensions.
