VP Osinbajo Leads ECOWAS Election Mission for Cote d'Ivoire

Vice President Yemi Osinbajo has been appointed to lead the ECOWAS election observation mission for the presidential election in Cote d'Ivoire scheduled for October 25, 2025. The mission will be deployed from October 19 to 29, 2025, in line with the provisions of the ECOWAS supplementary protocol on democracy and good governance.

Osinbajo's role is to support peaceful and credible electoral processes and foster cooperation among international and domestic observer groups. ECOWAS is committed to promoting peace, stability, and credible elections in the sub-region.
