Adeleke Promises Every Vote Will Count in Osun Election

Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke has called on residents to support him by voting peacefully in the governorship election scheduled for August 15. During a campaign tour in Isokan Local Government Area, he assured voters that every lawful vote would count.

In a statement signed by his spokesperson, Olawale Rasheed, Adeleke expressed gratitude to the traditional institutions and communities of Apomu and Ikoyi for their ongoing support. He reiterated his administration's dedication to delivering people-oriented projects and inclusive governance throughout Osun State.

Adeleke outlined plans to enhance education, improve healthcare delivery, create economic opportunities, and ensure equitable distribution of democratic benefits across the state. Traditional rulers, including the Alapomu of Apomu, Oba Kayode Afolabi, and the Olukoyi of Ikoyi, Oba Taofeek Morenigbade, offered prayers for Adeleke's success in the upcoming election.

A total of 14 candidates, including Adeleke, are contesting the governorship poll under the Accord party.
