APC Campaign Council Meets to Strategize for Osun Election

The All Progressives Congress (APC) Campaign Council, consisting of 292 members, convened its inaugural meeting on Monday in Abuja, presided over by Senator Hope Uzodinma, the Governor of Imo State and Chairman of the Campaign Council. This meeting followed the council's inauguration by the party’s National Chairman, Professor Nentawe Yilwatda, the previous week.

During the meeting, Uzodinma urged members to demonstrate commitment and focus on strategies to secure victory in the upcoming Osun State governorship election, scheduled for August 15. He emphasized that the meeting was not for socializing but for serious planning, mandating all subcommittees to convene and submit proposals to the National Secretary.

Uzodinma reiterated that the primary mission of the council is to win the election, stating that any other matters would be addressed after the election.
