Oyebamiji Promises Safe Voting in Osun 2026 Election

Bola Oyebamiji, the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the 2026 Osun State governorship election, assured residents that voter intimidation and harassment will not be tolerated during the election. Speaking during his campaign tour of the Ifelodun/Boripe/Odo Otin Federal Constituency on Wednesday, Oyebamiji urged eligible voters to collect their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) and participate in the election scheduled for August 15.

He dismissed rumors of potential violence and emphasized that any individual caught harassing voters would face severe consequences from security operatives. Oyebamiji promised an inclusive administration focused on addressing the needs of all sectors, particularly in rural areas through agricultural development and infrastructure improvements.

He also expressed his commitment to participatory governance, stating his readiness to listen to residents' needs. The incumbent governor, Ademola Adeleke, is seeking re-election on the Accord platform, with 13 other political parties fielding candidates.
