Oyebamiji Promises No Intimidation in Osun Polls

Bola Oyebamiji, the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the upcoming Osun State Governorship election, stated that voter intimidation will not be permitted during the election scheduled for August 15. Speaking during a campaign tour in Okuku, Osun State, he urged voters to collect their Permanent Voter’s Cards (PVCs) and participate in the election without fear.

Oyebamiji dismissed rumors of potential violence, assuring the electorate that any thugs or hoodlums attempting to intimidate voters would face severe consequences from security operatives. He emphasized the importance of the PVC as a tool for empowerment and participation in the electoral process.

Oyebamiji also outlined his plans for governance, focusing on agricultural development, infrastructure, health, education, and commerce, promising equitable treatment for all regions of the state. He is competing against the incumbent Governor Ademola Adeleke of the Accord Party and candidates from 13 other political parties.
