Oyebamiji Denies Criminal Links in Osun 2026 Campaign

Bola Oyebamiji, the APC governorship candidate for the 2026 elections in Osun State, addressed journalists after Friday prayers at the Central Mosque in Osogbo. He accused opposition elements of attempting to associate his campaign with criminal activities by branding vehicles in APC campaign colors that were allegedly involved in crimes.

Oyebamiji emphasized that neither he nor his campaign organization is connected to any criminal acts, asserting that these allegations are part of a deliberate plot by political opponents to discredit him and undermine his growing support across the state. He maintained that he conducts his political affairs with integrity and respects the rule of law.

Oyebamiji urged the people of Osun to disregard these attempts to malign his reputation and to remain vigilant against deceptive strategies aimed at instilling fear. He reiterated his commitment to pursuing his democratic aspirations without resorting to unlawful acts.
