Adeleke Promotes Peace Among Osun Leaders Post-Election

On the occasion of the 35th anniversary of Osun State, Governor Ademola Adeleke initiated discussions with former Governor Bisi Akande as part of his efforts for post-election reconciliation and peace. This information was communicated by Adeleke’s Spokesperson, Mallam Olawale Rasheed.

Adeleke, who has been actively working to mend divisions caused by the recent governorship election, spoke with Akande about the importance of restoring elite interaction and consensus among political leaders. He also reached out to former Governors Olagunsoye Oyinlola and Rauf Aregbesola, congratulating them on the anniversary and expressing his desire for unity among political factions.

Additionally, Adeleke attempted to contact former Governor Gboyega Oyetola and APC governorship candidate Bola Oyebamiji, but received no response at the time of the report. Adeleke reiterated his commitment to peace and reconciliation, stating that there are no victors or vanquished in the elections, and emphasized the need for governance and healing of electoral wounds.
