Osun APC Promises Community-Focused Governance

Ajibola Basiru, the National Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), announced that an APC government in Osun State, led by governorship candidate Bola Oyebamiji, will prioritize community needs through the establishment of community intervention infrastructure if elected. This statement was made during the APC campaign tour in Irepodun and Orolu Local Government Areas on Friday, where Basiru emphasized the importance of conducting a needs assessment before providing community resources.

He highlighted the significant increase in federal allocations since President Bola Tinubu took office, noting that allocations rose from N586 billion in April 2023 to N2.7 trillion by June 2026. Basiru questioned the lack of corresponding infrastructure improvements in Osun communities despite these allocations.

Oyebamiji assured voters of a commitment to balanced governance that would enhance education, healthcare, agriculture, and the local economy, ensuring comprehensive development across the state.
