Oyebamiji to Prioritize Community Infrastructure in Osun

Senator Basiru Ajibola, the National Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), stated that Bola Oyebamiji, the party's governorship candidate, will prioritize community intervention infrastructure upgrades across all 332 wards in Osun State if elected. This announcement was made during an APC campaign tour at the palace of Olufon of Ifon Orolu, Oba Peter Akinyooye.

Ajibola emphasized the need for community-based infrastructural amenities to enhance living standards in rural areas. He criticized the current administration for failing to utilize the significant increase in federal allocations since President Bola Tinubu took office, which rose from N586 billion in April 2023 to N2.7 trillion by June 2026.

Oyebamiji assured voters of a commitment to good governance across all sectors, including education, healthcare, and agriculture. The gubernatorial election in Osun State is scheduled for August 15, where incumbent governor Ademola Adeleke will run for re-election under the Accord Party, competing against 13 other parties, including the APC.
