Ido Ayegunle Community Honors Residents Killed in Crisis

The Ido Ayegunle Descendants Union in Osun State honored four residents who lost their lives during a crisis in the community last year, referring to them as heroes whose contributions should not be forgotten. The deceased were identified as Engin Agboola, Sundai Kingslei Nwagbana, Rasak Adegok, and Olayinka Sodiq.

The union, led by Chairman Paul Alani, expressed concern over recent developments in the community that have raised tensions, including the removal of burglar-proof roof sheets from houses damaged during the crisis. The statement issued on Friday emphasized the importance of the deceased in the community's history and called on the Osun State government and security agencies to intervene urgently to prevent further tensions and ensure the protection of lives and property.

The union reiterated its commitment to preserving the community's heritage and honoring the memories of those lost during the crisis.
