Babayemi Urges Peaceful Voting in Osun Gubernatorial Poll

Prince Dotun Babayemi, serving as the Director-General for the Osun West Governorship Campaign Council of the All Progressives Congress (APC), called on the people of Osun State to participate peacefully in the gubernatorial election scheduled for Saturday. He specifically urged voters to support Asiwaju Bola Oyebamiji, the APC candidate, for a transformational change in the state.

In a statement released from his media office, Babayemi emphasized the need to avoid bloodshed and destruction, reminding citizens that despite political differences, they share a common heritage as residents of Osun State. He warned that the costs of violence could be substantial and stressed that elections should not be viewed as a do-or-die affair.

Babayemi expressed confidence in Oyebamiji's readiness to lead and his potential to improve the state, asserting that with the people's support, the APC candidate would emerge victorious.
