Oyebamiji Urges Prayers for Peaceful Osun Election

Bola Oyebamiji, the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for the Osun State governorship election set for August 15, 2026, has called on religious leaders to pray for a peaceful electoral process. During a special prayer session organized by the Osun State chapter of the Ansar Ud Deen Society of Nigeria, Oyebamiji expressed confidence in his victory and highlighted his Islamic background, character, and commitment as a bona fide member of the society.

He appealed to eligible voters not to sell their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) and urged religious leaders to intensify prayers for a credible election. Alhaji Akand Ola Hafiz, speaking on behalf of the society, described Oyebamiji as a genuine member and expressed the society's support for his gubernatorial aspirations.

The society reaffirmed its non-partisan stance while recognizing the need to support members seeking public office. Oyebamiji emphasized his dedication to transforming Osun State and sought divine guidance for the upcoming election.
