APC Confident of Defeating Adeleke in 2026 Osun Elections

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has expressed confidence that their governorship candidate, Bola Oyebamiji, will defeat the current governor of Osun State, Ademola Adeleke, in the 2026 elections. This assertion was made during the inauguration of an 800-member campaign council led by Oluwol Ok Dure on Wednesday.

The APC has already begun mobilization efforts across the state in preparation for the upcoming contest. The party's goal is to remove the sitting governor, whom they accuse of poor management of state resources, particularly in sectors such as education, health, and agriculture.

The APC criticized Adeleke's administration for failing to meet public expectations and for not effectively handling salary payments to workers. They argue that the people of Osun deserve better governance and improvements in living conditions.

The APC campaign team is determined to tackle issues of poverty, unemployment, and weak governance to restore progress in the state.
