Imumolen Predicts Adeleke's Defeat in Osun Governorship Race

Prof. Chris Imumolen, the factional National Chairman of the Accord, has stated that Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke is likely to lose the forthcoming governorship election. In a statement issued by Israel Jagunmolu, Imumolen urged the people of Osun State not to waste their votes on Adeleke, suggesting that his political future hinges on both the election outcome and a legal dispute regarding the leadership of the Accord.

Imumolen expressed confidence that even if Adeleke wins the election, he could still face legal challenges stemming from the ongoing case involving rival factions of the Accord before the Federal High Court in Abuja. He noted that the leadership dispute is significant, affecting the legitimate structure and authority of the Accord.

Imumolen asserted that a victory for Adeleke would not resolve the political and legal challenges surrounding his candidacy, and he remains optimistic that the judiciary will affirm his faction's leadership position as the election approaches.
