Adeleke Confident in Re-election Bid for Osun Governorship

Ademola Adeleke, the Governor of Osun State, stated his belief that his administration's achievements and leadership style warrant his re-election in the upcoming governorship election scheduled for August 15. During an event at the Government House in Osogbo, where he hosted members of the Osun State chapter of the Ansarudeen Society of Nigeria, Adeleke highlighted the progress made in various sectors, including the economy, education, sports, health, and agriculture.

He emphasized that his administration's record speaks for itself and justifies his re-election. Adeleke disclosed that his campaign will focus on a five-point agenda designed to deepen the state's development, prioritizing welfare, empowerment of women, workers, and youth.

He proposed policies aimed at promoting agro-industrial growth and enhancing social and economic conditions for residents. Additionally, he pledged to improve access to education and ensure affordable quality healthcare services, while also creating a secure, business-friendly environment to encourage investment and generate employment opportunities.

Hafiz Akand, the state secretary of the society, commended Adeleke's leadership as outstanding and unprecedented in Osun State's history.
