INEC Launches Workshop for Osun Electoral Officials

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has commenced a two-day capacity-building workshop for electoral officials in Osun State in preparation for the upcoming governorship election scheduled for August 15. Mr.

Oluwatoyin Babalola, the Resident Electoral Commissioner for Osun, charged the participants to enhance their knowledge and skills necessary for effective electoral management. The workshop is designed to prepare officials for various pre-electoral activities, including the recruitment of ad hoc staff and logistical management.

Babalola emphasized the importance of result management strategies to address challenges that may arise during the electoral process. The training will cover communication management during elections and the use of various technological tools to ensure smooth conduct of the polls.

Babalola expressed confidence that participants would apply the knowledge gained during the workshop to effectively discharge their duties during the election.
