Oyintiloye Advocates Peace Ahead of Osun Governorship Poll

Olatunbosun Oyintiloye, a former member of the Osun State House of Assembly and chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), called for peace and responsible political conduct among political actors and residents of Osun State ahead of the August 15 governorship election. He made this appeal on Wednesday while addressing journalists during an empowerment program for informal workers at his campaign office in Ibokun, Obokun Local Government Area.

Oyintiloye emphasized that the APC is a peaceful political party and urged stakeholders to promote tolerance and responsible engagement. The empowerment program aimed to support residents and strengthen grassroots participation, attracting various informal workers.

He encouraged beneficiaries to vote for Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji (AMBO) and assured them that an Oyebamiji-led administration would prioritize inclusive governance and economic empowerment. Community leader Bishop Michael Adewale praised the initiative, while Comrade Tijani Bello expressed gratitude for the support extended to artisans.

Oyintiloye concluded by urging residents to ensure a peaceful election atmosphere.
