SROL Expands SegunCare with Free Healthcare Outreach

On August 7-8, 2026, Segilola Resources Operating Limited (SROL) conducted the 4th Annual Community Medical Outreach in Imogbara, Odo-Ijesha, and Iperindo, providing free healthcare services to over 2,700 residents. The outreach delivered 2,762 medical consultations, scheduled 81 surgical procedures, conducted 1,860 laboratory investigations, and performed 563 eye examinations, among other health services.

This event marked a significant milestone in the expansion of SROL's SegunCare program, which now includes comprehensive mental health support. The program aims to provide long-term treatment for chronic diseases and has enrolled an additional 50 residents for ongoing management.

Dr. Princewill Osuchukwu, Medical Services Manager at SROL, emphasized the importance of sustained healthcare access beyond the outreach, highlighting the integration of mental health services to address the emotional challenges associated with chronic illnesses.
