Osun Aspirant Praises Adeleke's Infrastructure Projects

Samuel Oyedotun Ongo, an aspirant for the Osun East senatorial seat on the Accord Party platform, commended Governor Ademola Adeleke's administration for its infrastructure projects that benefit major towns and rural communities in Osun State. Speaking in Osogbo on Thursday, Ongo highlighted that these projects have significantly contributed to poverty reduction and improved the welfare of residents.

He emphasized the importance of infrastructure in economic development, stating that the governor's initiatives will empower the economy beyond current conditions. Ongo, a former chairman of the Osun State Water Corporation Board, expressed confidence in receiving support from notable leaders, including Ooni Adeyeye Ogunwusi, to secure the party ticket.

He also mentioned the current senator for Osun East, Adenigba Fadahunsi, who is seeking re-election under the Peoples Democratic Party after previously defecting from the Progress Congress. Ongo aims to mobilize community support in Modakeke for the upcoming 2027 general elections.
