Osun State University Graduate Achieves First Class Honours

Akinbobola Badmus, an Accounting graduate from Osun State University (UNIOSUN), announced his graduation with First Class Honours, achieving a GPA of 4.65 out of a possible 4.92. In a LinkedIn post shared in September 2026, Badmus reflected on his four-year academic journey, emphasizing the dedication, discipline, resilience, and consistency required to succeed.

He noted that attending UNIOSUN was not part of his original plans, yet he expressed no regrets about his experience. Badmus described his evolution from a 100-level student adjusting to university life to a confident final-year student who understood the essence of learning and professional character.

His final-year research project, titled "Effect of Audit Assurance on Stakeholders' Expectations of Carbon Disclosure and Environmental Performance Data in the Manufacturing Sector of Osun State," was supervised by Dr A.O. Adebayo, whom he praised for his guidance.

Badmus concluded his post with encouragement for fellow graduates and undergraduates.
