Otitoju Receives Ekirin-Adde Grand Star Award for Unity

Babajide Kolad Otitoju, a director at TVC, was honored with the prestigious Ekirin-Adde Grand Star Award during the annual festival held on Saturday, 2026. This award is the highest recognition bestowed by the Ekirin-Adde community, and Otitoju expressed deep appreciation for the honor, describing it as a significant milestone in his life.

The award was kept a secret by the organizing committee until a few weeks before the festival. Otitoju commended the leadership of the Ekirin-Adde Development Association and highlighted the need for unity among the people, particularly in fostering peace and sustainable development.

He launched a 750 million naira development fund aimed at addressing critical infrastructure needs, including education and road rehabilitation. Otitoju called on citizens to complement government efforts in community development and urged Nigerian youth to embrace hard work and cultural values, emphasizing the importance of staying connected to their heritage.
