Otti Urges Unity Among South-East Governors for Progress

On Saturday, Abia State Governor Alex Otti addressed claims of disunity among South-East governors, asserting that such perceptions are often exaggerated. His comments followed a meeting with the South East Traditional Ruler Council in Umuahia, where he emphasized the importance of collaboration among leaders in the South-East and South-South regions.

Otti highlighted that while governors may have different priorities, it is crucial to work together to address pressing issues such as insecurity, youth unemployment, and socio-economic challenges. He urged traditional rulers to promote unity and fairness within their communities, stating that leadership should be guided by justice and equity.

Otti also noted that his administration's appointments would be based on merit, ensuring opportunities are fairly distributed. He concluded by stressing that true progress requires collective effort, encapsulating the message that "if you want to go fast, go alone; if you want to go far, go together.".
