Otti Partners with Surveyors for Real Estate Development

On Tuesday, Governor Alex Otti of Abia State met with a delegation from the Nigerian Institute of Estate Surveyors and Valuers, led by its President, Chief Victor. Otti expressed his administration's readiness to partner with the institute to develop the real estate sector in the state.

The collaboration is intended to strengthen initiatives that require the involvement of institute members and deepen partnerships. Otti assured the delegation of his administration's support and emphasized the importance of hosting the institute's 2026 annual conference at the International Conference Centre in Umuahia, scheduled for April 13-18, 2026.

The conference theme will focus on "Corridor Connect: Rethink Real Estate Development Along Renewed Hope Infrastructure Investment." Otti also reiterated his commitment to establishing a five-star hotel in Umuahia to improve accommodation for visitors. The meeting included discussions on policies to enhance land administration and asset management in the state.
