Otti Supports Tinubu's Re-election Bid, Says Abia Lawmaker

Ginger Onwusib, a member representing Isiala Ngwa North/South Federal Constituency, stated that Abia State Governor Alex Otti will not oppose President Bola Tinubu's bid for a second term. This announcement was made during the flag-off of a solar light project in Umuimenyi, Abia State.

Onwusib emphasized that Tinubu's performance warrants a second term. He highlighted Otti's political journey, noting his previous roles as a special adviser and assistant during the tenures of former governors Orji Uzor Kalu and Okezie Ikpeazu.

The solar light project, facilitated by lawmaker Frank Chinasa, aims to enhance public safety and confidence, with plans to install 486 solar-powered street lights across Uzuakoli and Umuimenyi wards. Chinasa's initiative is aligned with the development vision of Governor Otti, who is committed to transforming Abia State.

Local leaders, including Mayor Uwabunkeony Bassei and Johnson Chukwu, praised the project for its potential to improve community safety and business opportunities.
